Breathe PR is run by independent freelance PR consultant Carolyn Hughes and is based in Stockport, Manchester. I specialise in working with innovative businesses of all size, helping them reach new audiences and fulfil their potential via communicatons.
I specialise in working specifically with interiors and lifestyle, horticulture and environmental, technology SMEs, as well as arts organisations and charities.
Currently, I work with PR and marketing clients right across Cheshire, Lancashire and the North West , as well as across the UK.
As a PR and marketing consultant, I work closely with businesses, becoming a part of their team and getting to know their businesses inside out. I love to work with creative and ambitious businesses who want to do something a little different and a little bit brave.
I am an expert in traditional PR and media relations, digital PR, PR strategy, social media management, copywriting, SEO and blog post creation.
PR work can involve creating and distributing press releases, setting up interviews and case studies, organising press trips and launch events, working with other organisations to create working relationships, responding to press enquiries and releasing statements about relevant and newsworthy events – and much more.
I also create PR and marketing strategy, long-term planning and brand development.
Everything I do promotes your business, and crucially, reaches new customers in a way that traditional advertising just can’t match.
Additional marketing activity includes writing blog posts, running your social media activity, writing and improving website content and writing marketing brochures and copy.
I also liaise with other agencies such as web designers, graphic designers and SEO agencies.
Carolyn Hughes (was Mitchell) has more than 15 years’ experience in the media and digital industry, having been a journalist and editor, and later a PR consultant with a number of agencies in Manchester.
The benefits of working with a freelance consultant are that you are not tied into any contracts and work can be as flexible as you like. You will be working with someone who wants your business to succeed, shouts about your successes and build relationships with your customers and community.
